If you're trying to stick with local businesses, this is a great choice. I'm here on business every couple of weeks, a couple of days at a time, for several months to come. I would rather have breakfast here than in the hotel or a truck stop or chain restaurant. This is the kind of place where "local regulars" are known. Enjoy small town America as long as you can, folks!

Breakfast ok. Waitress licked her fingers after eating in our view then touched the toast. Somehow water tasted like dirt. Literally...dirt.
We really take care when we pick a place to eat when on a road trip. Nothing spoils the fun faster than stopping where you're not wanted. That's why this little place gets five stars. The food is typical diner fare but it is real cooking, good home style stuff. Our biscuits and gravy were yummy and the omelet on point. The prices are more than reasonable. However, it is the wait staff and atmosphere that is the reason to stop. NICE is the word. WELCOME is the attitude. What makes a great experience is a waitress that makes you feel like family even though she came in at five on a Sunday morning. Knowing when to come and go is a real art and our server had it down. Plus the coffee was free that week in celebration of their one year anniversary. Here's to many more free coffee weeks!!! Last note: it may look like a lot of cars in the lot but check it out, they have two large seating areas, we had no trouble finding a place to sit.
